Every consultation is one to one, by video, and ends with a written summary of what was discussed and what to ask your treating doctor or clinic next.
What a consultation is
- Time to explain your situation properly, without being rushed.
- A plain-language walk through your results and what they mean.
- The options usually open to you, and the questions to put to your clinic.
- A written summary by email within [n] working days.
What it is not
- Treatment. No tests, scans or procedures are carried out.
- A replacement for your GP, your clinic or your antenatal care.
- Emergency care. In an emergency call 1990 (Suwa Seriya) or go to the nearest hospital.
Dr Navindi Fernandopulle
She qualified from St George's, University of London, in 2020, with an intercalated degree in clinical reproduction, and has worked in the UK National Health Service since: at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston, then in obstetrics and gynaecology at Birmingham Women's and Children's.
She started this practice because so many of the people she saw had never had their situation explained to them properly. A consultation with her is that explanation.
She consults from Colombo, in English and Sinhala.

No. Dr Navindi Fernandopulle is a doctor who has worked in obstetrics and gynaecology in the UK NHS. She is not a consultant and is not on the specialist register. If you need a specialist, she will tell you.
Will this get me pregnant?
No consultation can promise that. What you get is a clear explanation of where you are and what to do next.
Do I need a referral?
No.
Can I book for my wife, husband or daughter?
Yes. Put the patient's name on the booking and your own mobile number if you prefer. The patient should be on the call. Dr Navindi Fernandopulle does not see children under two by video.
Can both of us join the call?
Yes. For fertility questions it usually helps if you both do.
