What the fee does not cover
Tests, scans, medicines, procedures or anything done elsewhere. Dr Navindi Fernandopulle does not take any part of the fee of any clinic she suggests you ask about.
Your card
Your payment is taken by [Company name] Ltd, a UK company, through Stripe. The amount is charged in rupees. Because the merchant is outside Sri Lanka, most Sri Lankan banks add a cross-border fee to the card, typically 3.5% to 4.5%, and credit cards also carry the 2.5% government stamp duty on foreign transactions. These are charged by your bank, not by us. A debit card avoids the stamp duty. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never seen or stored by this site.
Cancelling and rescheduling
- Cancel or move your appointment yourself from the link in your confirmation email.
- More than 24 hours before: full refund, or move it for free.
- Less than 24 hours before, or if you do not join: no refund.
- If Dr Navindi Fernandopulle has to cancel: a new time, or a full refund, your choice.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with within [n] working days of the refund being issued; your bank may take a few more days to show it.
