Training
I qualified from St George's, University of London, in 2020, with an intercalated degree in clinical reproduction, and have worked in the UK National Health Service since: at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston, then in obstetrics and gynaecology at Birmingham Women's and Children's.
I started this practice because so many of the people I saw had never had their situation explained to them properly. A consultation with me is that explanation.
I am not a consultant and I am not on the Sri Lanka Medical Council's specialist register. I say that plainly because you should know exactly who you are talking to.
What I do
I spend a full session with you. I go through your history, your results and the questions you have, and I explain what they mean and what the usual options are. I tell you what to ask the doctor or clinic that is treating you, and I write it down for you afterwards.
What I do not do
I do not carry out examinations, scans, tests or procedures. I do not run a fertility clinic. I do not replace your treating doctor. If something needs an examination, I will say so and tell you who to see.
